some will remove the bed some push it off the side some cut a hole in the bed and some slide it back

Whatabout the tail light wiring? Can I lift just the front up with an engine hoist through the stake posts?

the wiring should just unplug so I would do that instead. that way you dont have the risk of the bed falling down on you or slipping off the back.

There is a plug under the bed behind the bumper, just unplug it as beastie said...
