In the vids, whats the slight metallic clank in the engine bay in the first vid and in the exhaust in the second vid?

I think in the first one you are hearing my alternator going out, cuz it was bad the whole time and i think it was making some noise. The second on you are hearing my exhaust leak i think. I have been driving the truck and everything seems to be okay. So not sure.

looks good!

Are you going to move your air filter eventually? It doesnt hit the fan?

Why not run dual exhaust with a crossover?

That truck looks too cool.  That motor looks awesome in there, like it came from the factory that way.

My 83 k20 with 39.5 Baja Claws. The pics start with how i got the turck, long story short.....bent frame junked everything but the cab, good thing i traded a broke 4 wheeler for a broke truck. Anyway, here are the specs
1983 K20 shortbed
back half of framed boxed in
3 coats por 15 then 2 coats dupli-color
8" lift
39.5 Baja's with classic 2 rims
cut out bushwhackers
5.3L out of a 01' Silvy with 90,xxxx
turbo 400 trans
custom interior, seat out of 08 Silverado
Fiberglass dash
7" tv screen (will have playstation once truck is running)
what i need is fuel tank, pump, lines, brake lines, steering box, and a few other odds and ends.....enjoy.

^^^^^^ Old frame when i put it together the first time and realized it was bent^^

This is the airbrushing that i want....

You, my friend have done to your truck, what I would do to a vehicle in a resto too!! The 5.3L, well the LS engines are an amazing piece of engineering, and I applaud you for it.

Did you get a wiring harness from painless wiring??

Excellent work.

Will

Haha thanks man, It's been a long road but i'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I still have A LOT of work to do but IMO it will never be "done". I see some of the awesome interiors on here and i drool over them. I need to find somebody who can help me with mine and not charge me a crapload of money for it. I would do the 99% of the work if someone showed me.
Anyway I did almost all the wiring .....my buddy who does LS swaps in Rx7's did the main engine harness and all the tuning, relay's, and other odds and ends. All the truck wiring is all me. Just took my time and did it right. Thanks for the compliments
