parts still need to go away.....
« on: March 27, 2003, 10:43:00 pm »
hey folks, I still have some extra parts from my project truck I need to part with. I have a new set of door weatherstrips(still in the bag), a Powertrax locker for a 8.5" ten bolt with 28 spline axles, and a fairly new edelbrock #1406 electric choke 600cfm carb with a NIB A/C Delco 14" breather. I'm trying to clean the rest of my garage out. It's all good stuff, the breather and the locker are unused, the locker is even installed in a carrier. I'd like to get $200 for the locker, $35 for the rubbers, and $150 for the carb and air cleaner. These are all pretty decent prices but it's less shipping. Anybody interested please jet me an email at WDALEX@aol.com. Thanks alot dudes and dudettes, Bill

Put me down for the door rubber. I need some weather stripping bad. It might be a week or two before I can round up 35 bucks I'll send a check.

Powertrax, thats a locker and not posi traction? I just need posi traction for my 10bolt..

btw, I'm in WA to, but I dont think the rubber will be hard to ship.

Eric, the Powertrax is a locker that installs in your factory carrier in place of the spider gears. I bought it to use for a boat pulling deal but got another truck that already has a posi in it so this one is useless to me. It's already installed in a carrier too(that's how far I got with the project) but doesn't even have grease on it. I wouldn't think it would cost more than $5 or so to ship the rubbers to you either. Thanks, Bill

I still have the door rubbers and a locker. Sold the carb and breather today along with a new bra. Woo-hooo, finally starting to see a spot on my floor. Now if my bike would go away I could start over!!!

Do you still have the rubbers and what pieces are they?

I've never heard of a Powertrax locker. Is that like a spool? Is it for rear end of a 2wd drive truck or front end of a 4wd. Ive heard of lockers for 4wd. I was looking at putting an Eaton Posi with 3.73 in my rear end, Will the powertrax be better?

I've sold everything but the locker to date guys, thanks anyway. I'll be deployed out of the country for the next six months or so it looks like so I'll still have it when I get back.
