Ive been wanting to lift my 2wd since I got it a year ago. I found these
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/pts/2243643841.html
and I need to know, since this is just the knuckle, how do I make it 8 lug? I know everything else required for the swap onto our suspension. But I need to figure this out quick so I dont have to spend 700 on a set from rough country.

125 more? 700 - 175 = 525. This is a GREAT deal. I tried googling, so far ive.read that its nearly impossible for 4wd versions, but its a different story for 2wd, but nothing about how to dk it. Im wondering if all it takes is 8 lug hub and rotor?

Well, irish, I can honestly say I love you. For some strange reason, I could never find the 300 dollar ones, only the super expensive 4.5" ones
http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/index.htm?stocknumber=FTS2588-7+FT
. But I think its because I was searching for the 8 lug ones. So, im wondering now, will those ones you lusted work, because I figured out all I have to do is put 8 lug rotor and the 3/4 ton caliper on. Hmmmm. That was for 6 to 8 lug, maybe 5 to 8 lug will be the same?

Whats the difference between a rotor and a rotor hub assembly?
This is what I need to make all of this work.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/data/890/21872224016_large.jpg
Obviously I have to 73-87 parts, substitute the rotors with 8 lug, and calipers to match.
I figure I can find most of the brake parts at pick a part.
What is a banjo bolt? How do you install rotors onto spindles?

Banjo bolt is the bolt for the brake line. As far as seeing if you can just buy the rotors I would go to a parts story and measure the rotor assemblies for 3/4 and 1/2. But I'm almost sure they wouldn't match or they probably would list it for both. And the rotors will slip on that type have bearings on the inside "hub bearing assembly"

Well, in the spreadsheet, he said he used the 6 lug rotors instead of the 5, which means those exchange. And on oreillys website for a 92 c2500(what he used for his 6 lug) It asks for either 11in or 13in rotors, and they come in both 6 and 8 lug hubs.

As far as I know 1/2 4x2 only used 5 while 4x4 used 6 then for 3/4 they used 6 & 8 depends on weight class. So it kind of makes some sense that they are interchangeable between 5 & 6 but 8 look like they have bigger bearings

After some research, the 1/2 tons had the 5 lug, and the 8 lug have bigger bearings. But after 92 the 3/4 tons had either 6 or 8 and there were interchangeable. So I need to get 92+ 3/4 ton to use 8 lug rotors.

I have another question. Is it possible to have tubular control arms that will lift my truck?
