Alternator choices
« on: April 18, 2011, 12:17:29 pm »
I lost the alternator for my '87 project. I went to pick a new one up, but found I have a choice between 66, 78, 94 and 105 amp units. My truck doesnt have air or power windows but it is a 5.7 TBI. Wondering if I should go with the 105amp anyway? (in case I want to add power windows)

78 or 94 if you want to add power windows.  As long as you don't add more power add on, lights etc....
