new but not new
« on: April 19, 2011, 09:42:35 am »
ive join last week and have posted a few posts on some cool topics and read many. Im 18 and have a 1980 4 door longbed c-30. we call the pig for our own reasons of bringing it home and it sucking down water from overheating from the radiator leak. but it has been my project for about 3/4 of a year. since we got it ive done many things with it form hauling gravel with dry rotted tires to hauling 1.5 tons of scrap metal to the junkyard. its been a big truck and for me it matches me perfect. just recently i did my high school senior projecto n it adn replaced the motor that blew on the interstate to get scrap metal and replaced the old wore out 366 with a 87 model 366 with a edelbrock 600 cfm performer series carb. ive got it running and had to have some good time. in the future i will never sell it as its my first vehicle yes the very first for me and no matter what the dually is mine.
