Odometer in Electronic Speedometer Not Counting Up
« on: April 20, 2011, 12:34:32 pm »
So my Odometer died yesterday in my '91 V3500.  It is an electronic speedometer with the mechanical style barrel odometer.  It also has the trip odometer and the reset knob that you push in and turn, leading to the numbers sequentially rolling to zero.

When I bought the truck the trip odometer reset knob wouldn't work.  Okay...no biggie.  I track mileage and service intervals with an iPop App (GasCubby if anyone cares).  The speedometer works just fine, but the odometer now has stopped.

Does anyone have some leads on speedometer restoration?  If I am going to have it out and fixed I would like to send it to a place that will restore it as well as repair it.  It isn't in that bad of shape looks wise, but why not make it like new?!  I reserve the right to change my opinion after reviewing any quotes!  ;D

Yes I searched and I didn't find an answer to my question.
