Hey, all!
New to board and glad to be here. Just picked up a 'free' 1986 chevy short box... [Nothing is ever free]
I am looking forward to seeing what others have done with this model-perhaps get some good advice and direction when I know enough to ask a good question or two.
in short:
1986-custom deluxe-V6-step side short box-2wd-autotrans-58k original miles by original owner- body clean with exception of passenger door [need to replace] Dual Tanks-a/c-no lighter=no place to plug in phone charger [yet] some rust[minimal] -
We intend to drive this round town as well as longer distance trips to take dirtbikes to the high dez. when schedules permit....
Glad to have found you-
Ken

Welcome from Arizona. Can't beat free, it just keeps the overall cost of the truck down.

Welcome from Ohio. I hear ya on the plug in for the electronics. That was one of my first projects. I'm still searching for the perfect cup holder!

Just about 20 miles North of Baselone Rd.... you probably "camped" in those hills some while in the Marine Corps! Town Called Lake Forest / El Toro.
Thanks for the Welcome, Everyone! Wondering if those cup holders were ever found? [grin]
