Pull motor and trans

Is it possible to pull the transmission and engine together as one unit? 78 k 20 fulltime 4x4, small block 350 with a th400 with the np203 transfer

ya, but not with the T case hooked up. You will probably have to take the radiator and core support/grill off too.

Going to pull the motor and the tranny has been slipping so I thought I'd have it rebuilt. ?

It would probably be easier just to drop the T case and transmission together, since you already have to drop the T case. Work with gravity.

I pulled the 6.2/700R4 out of my 1989 Blazer all in one piece.  Just undid the t-case.  It was pretty tight and there was some scraping and fluid leaking going on as well.

I also put the engine/trans back in the same way.

It does work, and I never removed the radiator/support either.

With beast if all you need is the Trans drop it from underneath. That way you don’t have to mess with the clip and its easier if your by yourself than trying to move it all at one time. Just strap the trans to the jack so she cant roll off and you be good
