Front drive shaft question

I'm buying a 79 blazer next week. It has a 355, th350, np205, not sure on the axles. But I'm trying to find a front drive shaft for it. Would a drive shaft from a jeep with a 205 match or no?

I texted the guy and I believe I was the first to text him but I was talking to him for a few days trying to figure out what the truck needs and what it already has and what not. We seem the have acquainted to eachother pretty well and he agreed to sell me the blazer for $550. He's going to bring it out to me next week hopefully. So I'm looking for the front driveshaft which was stolen so I can finally have myself a 4x4! I found a front windshield on craigslist for $50 and a torque converter from oreillys for $80. I dont know what to search for on CList because all of the results have been for whole transmissions. I'm going to register it in Globe like my c20 and insure it under my dads name. It costs $20 a year for registration on my truck and $20 a month for state minimum insurance. should be about the same for the blazer. The desert Camo is gone when I get the truck. Going to paint it the same green as my truck, and then sand and primer my truck so they arent matching.

It has to be a shaft off a 205 and th350, the flange that mates to the transfer case can be a flange or yoke I think 78 is when they changed to the flange style. also it seems to me like someone who might be selling the truck either took the shaft out for sell or needed it the only reason I say that is cause the windshield had to be removed and you just don’t do that cause someone bust it out you do it to change it or change the vin. I could be wrong but make sure the vin is right when you buy the truck

Yeah, im going to do a thorough check up on it before I give him a dime. One of the main reasons im getting this blazer is the engine. If anything, it its not the right vin, ill build myself a trazer with a cab and title online.

Can someone get a measurement of the front drive shaft for a th350 np205 10 bolt?

the front axle doesnt matter. I have to see if my buddy still has his just laying around

his buddies built the truck in like 2003 or something. It mostly sat. His brother bought it and drove it to work every now and again, but ended up parking it because the torque converter is going out and it has horrible gas mileage. And then he bought it from his brother in october without aeeing.it, thinking it was still in good shape, and when he got it and saw the problems and found out the torque converter was the problem behind how it was running, he decided to sell it. And for 550, i cant complain.
