I have been told by people in the glass replacement business that it's mandatory to use urethane on both sides of the gasket on these trucks now, so I used it. I was cautious not to use alot near the drain holes at the bottom corners to allow them to be open, although I'm not sure it will make any difference. My thought is that originally without the sealer water could get in and without proper drainage the channels would rust, but now that the channel is completely filled with urethane no water should get in so it shouldn't be an issue. Time will tell, but safety always trumps rust prevention.
