I rolled my 79K20 About 2 years ago. Since then I have worked mostly by myself to get the truck back on the road. I bought a 78 chevy cab from a 2 wheel drive and titled my truck as a 78. Well its almost done (on a tight budget) but I can't get the lights working right so I can get it inspected. The thing is that from 78 to 79 the fuse block was swithed from glass fuses to plastic fuses. I bolted the 78 fuse block to the 79 harness. Would this cause problems? I have went through all the fuses and changed them and I have new grounds everwhere. The head lights work fine but the tail lights stay lit up and won't shut off. The turning signals are not blink (put in new flashers) and when the turn lever is in right hand turn position the turning lights stay off. If the lever is in off position or left turn some of the turn lights stay on? Since I am only 18 and basically learning as I go Any help would be greatly appreciated.
