33x12.50x15 - what are my alternatives

The '89 K5 came with 33"s on 15" wheels, no idea on the width.  I love the look of this size tire on the K5.  What are comparable tires?  I don't know how to translate from 33x12.50 to say 275/60 measurements.

Are you keeping the 15" wheels? You can still get 33-12.50's.   
305/75R15 measures 33" tall and about 12" wide but I think a tire measured in inches instead of metric would probably be cheaper and easier to find unless you are going to 16" wheels.

I'm keeping the 15s for now.  I'm keeping an eye out on CL & such for decent used treads so I wanted an idea of what I could get away with.  Looks like I'll wind up buying new, which is preferable in every way except budget.
