My 73 C20

This is my first post. I got a 73 C20 when I was 16 and now at 25 the body had rotted away and I decided to do a whole restoration. I started about July last year and this is what I got so far. I want a stepside longbed for it bad but they are like finding a unicorn.

Thanks guys, the color is 06 GM Impulse Blue Metallic. Its my first attempt at any body work and my first paint job so its not perfect. Just going for a nice solid rust free truck that looks decent

Nice!  I dunno where you're located but in the Craigslist section someone found this ad for a long stepside bed.  I'm guessing it's in Conneticut based on the user's location.  It's a couple weeks old but if you're lucky the guy still has it.

Sorry for digging up an old one but I got a update. I took my cab and front clip off and cut my frame in half. I had a 87 1ton CCLB 4x4 with a Dana 60 that I cut up and that front half is now on my truck, so I got a pretty stout 4x4 truck now. And I'm not sure how its going to look but I have a 69 long stepside that I'm putting on. So that's where I'm at now.

LOVE the long stepper 4wd trucks!!  I'd just about trade my ccsb one for a clean reg cab long step truck!

Digging it up twice now :P The old truck has gone through a pair of 350s. So now I have a 99 5.3l in it. Fuel injection and all. Wish me luck
