So what do you daily-driven 4x4 guys like for tires?

I'm looking forward to replacing my Pep Boys (Futura RVT)all-terrain tires.  I'm not quite there yet, they've still got a few thousand miles left on them, but I am not really happy with them.  They just don't displace the water underneath them!  They hydroplane on even the shallowest of puddles.  I WANT to believe it's because the crappy tread pattern, but I'm also running 33x12.50-15s.  Am I just going to have the same problem on any tire that wide or do you think it's just the poor design of the tires I have now?  TireRack.com rates the Michelin LTX AT as the best all-terrain tire.  I ran them on my S-10 and loved them but I think I might want something with a slightly more agressive tread.  Also I'll probably go up to a 35x12.50-15 when I do have to buy tires.  I've got the 4" lift and a truck that isn't too pretty to wear trimmed fenders.  What tires do you guys run what have 4x4s for daily drivers?

I have the BFG A/T's.  There a good tire and handle well on the pavement.  Remember, the more aggresive (Rock or mud) you go the more noise and vibration your going to have on the pavement.  How much can you handle?  My tires are 35's with 6" susp. lift.  I'll be putting another inch on the body this weekend.  Check out offroaddesign.com for the one inch body lift.  A little extra clearance without the hassle of extending brake lines...radiator hoses...Also, if you go with a bigger, wider tire your going to have more problems with hydroplaning, but, shop around.  There are better tires than PEPBOYS.

Nobody I know likes their BFG ATs.  I drove a work truck with them and didn't like them at all...  I don't want to do a body lift because I carry heavy things at times in the bed, like a load of gravel or 100' worth of fence materials, etc.  I like the bottom of the bed sitting on the frame rails where it belongs.  Also if I did a body lift at all the bottom of my fan shroud would have to be removed because of having moved it 1" back to accomodate a larger radiator.  Noise and vibration aren't really a problem, wet traction and tread life are my key concerns and I'm looking for an MT, I think.  So far everything's pointing towards the ProComp MT.  I like the sound of the 50,000 mile warranty and 4wheelparts.com regularly offers them on sale, buy 3 get one free.

I run 35x12.50's under my truck with only 4" of lift and they fit just fine.
