3/4 ton rim swap
« on: January 05, 2003, 02:30:00 am »
Hope u guys can help me with my question.  I now that chevy 3/4 tons and ford 3/4 tons have the same bolt pattern, 8x6.50.  I was told that only one would fit on the other.  I don't know if it was that the ford would fit on the chevy or if it was chevy that would fit on the ford.  I was told the difference is in the center hole, one is supposed to be bigger than the other.  The problem is i can't remember and i could really use the help.  Thanks

Ford and Chevy rims will interchange. Its the Dodge that has the smaller center hole but the same bolt patern. I have a been trying to find out if the new ford super duty rims will bolt on the Chevy.

New Fords and Dodges are a metic 8-lug pattern and don't fit.

Thanks Kevin Someone told me that but they were not sure and everyone else I asked didn't know.
