Inner fenders

Hi guys,

It's been a couple of years since I've seen my truck in one piece (!) and I can't remember if anything is bolted to the inner fenders?

There are loads of holes that have been drilled in them over the years by PO's and to tidy them up I was going to delete them but didn't want to waste time if any are needed.

Does that make sense?? I have no cruise, air con etc just a standard truck.

The jack bolts to it, and at the front the battery tray bolts to it and depending on the year the overflow for the radiator coolant.   There are 3 hole across the front that connect to the core support and 2 at the back that bolt to the cab.

I don't recall having a coolant overflow pot, just the washer bottle that bolts to the inner wing.

they don't call me miggit for nothing!!

You might not remember a coolant overflow, but I would get one.

I'm not sure if it's the same in vehicles with air conditioning, but in my 75 with a heater only, the hoses that go to and from the heater core attach to the passenger side inner fender.

again cheers guys, I do remember the heater hoses went straight to the engine, only because I recently took them off to paint the bulkhead  although they didn't look original. Probably another bodge by a PO!
