Interior paint decision
«

In the near future I need to decide what color I am painting my truck so that I can get the interior painted. Last night we set my new bed on the truck and I started to really like the combination of pearl and maroon/burgundy that was on my bed. When I was trying to picture the whole truck painted like that I was unsure about the interior paint.
Here is a pic of the color combination. Though it looks slightly different because of the camera you can get an idea.
This is the interior that will be in the truck.
I know the pearl will look good with the interior stuff. But what about the roof? Will it look odd from the outside?
So hear is what I would like input on.
All pearl interior paint??
All maroon/burgundy interior paint??
Pearl under the dash pad and maroon/burgundy from the dash pad up?

I'm pretty much sold on this color combination for the truck. I think all pearl interior paint is what it will end up as.

I think I would go all burgundy on the interior.

I'd keep the theme going. Pearl on the bottom portion burgundy on the top. Keep the door panels the color they are and wrap the bottom door carpet in some pearl vinyl. Maybe the door accents in the same color. Dash same color, paint the bottom pearl. Get some custom seats made to color match.
OR create the outside body line inside the truck. Paint the panels both colors following the line. Dash the same way. The seats wouldn't be able to follow that line but custom ones would work out. I got some free material samples from this site and they have some good seats. I didn't order from them but I did find the material and color I liked. Kinda pricey on the seats but if you have the budget or can do the work yourself, it would be class A stuff! "A" standing for AWESOME!!! LOL!

I'm actively working on my interior as well so this has been fresh on my mind and research lately. You can really go any direction. Hope that helps.

I'd keep it simple. I like the maroon/pearl combo, and I'd prolly go with the maroon interior.

Now you guy's got me thinking again.
Originally my truck was red with burgundy interior. The cab that I have on it now was yellow and then repainted black so I will be painting the interior for sure. I think I need to see one with maroon paint and burgundy interior.

I have the same problem my truck is root beer brown the inside is all brown with a maroon seat my seat is in good shape I'm keeping it. The outside will be on fire metallic(red) summit racing and the inside will have a maroon seat and carpet and headliner the door panels black with maroon insert and bottom carpet piece so what I'm not sure about is the dash. I am thinking dash pad black with maroon carpet and lower part black I,m not sure if the red would be to bright on the lower dash
What would be cool to have a section of interior pic thanks JM

junkman- I think that if your paint will be all fire metallic red on the outside then you should do the interior paint the same color.
My issue is that I don't want mine to look like I was too lazy to do the inside of the cab. I think mine would look more correct with the inside painted maroon but I think the pearl paint will look better with my interior pieces.

Thirsty, You are the one spending your hard earned $$$ and sweat on it. Plus you are going to have to look at it everyday. Follow your gut instinct and I am sure you will be happy with which ever way you decide to go.

@bobcooter- that's exactly the way I think but I just wanted to make sure that is what I wanted.
@junkman- I got what you meant. Yes all the plastic will be the stuff out of the blazer pictured and all the metal will be painted the same color pearl as the lower part of the outside of the truck.
