Gear indicator problem
« on: July 03, 2011, 11:17:17 am »
I have a problem. The plastic part on the gauge housing that the cable rides on for my gear indicator broke off.I'm not going to replace the housing unless I find one in good shape.I was also thinking of putting a small bolt with a roller in the place of the broken plastic.Has any body done this, have any other ideas, have a good housing for sale.

Ah...I misread.  Thought the little indicator was broken.

The gauge housing you can prolly find on Ebay, or your local junkyard.  Dunno if anyone reproduces the actual housing.
