Dash Speakers
« on: July 15, 2011, 06:47:34 am »
So I took out my dash in my 85 chevy and noticed that there were three speaker holes the two on each side and one in the middle. I know the two on each side are 3 1/2 but i cant tell what size the hole is for the center one. (there wasnt a speaker there just a hole) I would like to get a center one. is it a 4x10 or 4x6? or something else.

4x10 is the size, originally for a AM or AM-FM mono radio.  They make aftermarket plates the go into that slot that you can put 2 speakers in.  There a some on this forum that have that set up.
