So I have call around to a couple of different custom glass shops about a doing a single piece rear door glass, a couple of places said that nothing will work for it and cant be done and one place said they would have to call and engineer out to make a mold for them and that was about 15k and the back door glass would cost about 5k LOL I said "No thanks, I'm not looking to put that kind of money in to a window that someone might break out". I would really like a one piece glass for the rear doors so I guess I might just go with plexiglass or something.

Yea I have been researching on the web about how to cut and not to cut glass that has already been tempered, the only thing is trying to find a piece of glass that is some what close to the height, width, lenght and shape to fit the back doors. Glass would have to get really hot to shape it I would think and be a PITA to work with and not breaking it lol. I even thought about going to a local pick and pull and getting to back doors off of a 88-2000 dually and cutting the window section out of them and fabing them in to the other doors and fabing the tracks and all. That is just a thought because I have an extra set of front and back doors from a burb that I paid $300 for everything. I will prob just end up going the door rout because I like to customize and fab stuff up myself. I might even cosider doing the front doors depending on how the bak doors go, I have the door glass from a 88-98 1500 that I got for $50 when I had my old truck.

Trust me, I have been down this road already.  You aren't going to be able to do this on you own without making a template mold and paying a huge amount of money to make it work.  Call OPP and tell them you would like them to make it.  Like I said, they already have it mocked up.  They just need enough interest to push it to the top.

I have research the front and rear doors for this almost 10 years ago, there isn't a vehicle made that has even remotely close to the same curvature.  It will HAVE to be custom.

BTW, the window kits I sell come with everything except the door shell and the window regulator.  If you price out the same for replacing just the vent windows and felts you will be almost that much already....

Yea I have priced it all out and there is not much of a differance in price. I have been swaping parts out the past couple of days, I have all four doors that are complete with everything from a burb. I am going to keep it on the cheap rout for now and later on do the one piece windows.
