That is cool! Any pics down around the footings looking up from the bottom? Can you still access the original fording location?We had a few wooden bridges around where I grew up in Indiana ... but nothing that long or that scenic. I do remember going to Col with my parents in a 28' motor-home (Chevy drivetrain ) We went down to Cripple Creek, an old gold rush town where his mom lived for a bit around 1910. To get out of there we had to cross what seemed like a really long wooden bridge. He said we were right on the weight limit, must have been cause he made us get out and walk across! :eek Seemed a bit over 50 yards one lane, but I was just a young'un.
