spare tire?

when i first had my truck it had one under the bed, usual place. one day i take it off and put it in the bed. get tired of looking at it, it's so ugly i take it out. everything's fine until i have a flat in the middle of nowhere and i don't have a spare, luckily a friend of mine is with me and in the middle of nowhere he has an uncle that lives up the road a little ways well we go up there his uncle has some plugs and he plugs it for free.so OK it's fine now until i get a new tire from co-op the next day or so i thought. well anyways a couple of days pass and i go up there to get a new tire, the other tire can't be any good it actually took 3 folded plugs to fill and it was still leaking, you know i have to get another one. so i get up there and i say "hey don't your customers get a flat tire replaced for free on normal road hazard?","yes" they look at it and say "hey you plugged this tire" and i say "yeah" well we can't replace it since you plugged it. i was so mad i had to end up buying a new tire for $109.00. they did put a patch on it but the way he talked i needed another one so i had to get another one.and then i started carrying around fix-a-flat but now i'm out of it so i don't have anything right now.:rolleyes

when i was doing carpentry full time i bought a plug kit and compressor and kept it in the truck for those days when you pick up the spare nails the hard way (that was in the 94 gmc with 33's) the 86.. well theres nothing now but it will be under the bed when I'm done  or just get AAA:D
