G'day everyone, I'm a new member from Australia. I have a LHD C10 1976 Scottsdale shortbed with a 305ci/350auto that runs on straight LPG. I bought the C10 cheap as it had a broken motor. The #2 piston conrod bearing cap let go and made a mess in the sump. The piston top did not hit the valves so the heads look ok. I've stripped the motor down to the bare block to get it and the crank shaft, cracktested to see if their retrievable. If not it will be hello 350ci. Money is tight so we'll see.
This site has been very helpful so far. There was a huge amount of play in my tilt steering column, which I have now fixed thanks to the forum. The ID tag from the body is missing but thanks again to the forum, I found the # stamped in the chassis near the steering box.
I look forward to learning lots from other members and getting their ideas and opinions on what works and what doesn't on these great looking trucks.
Cheers for now

Welcome from California, so you are saying your truck is the regular left hand drive, not the right hand drive ?

Yes regular left hand drive. It was imported from the US back in 2004 I believe.

slammed..... you had me wondering what you mean't by "LHD square".... I wasn't sure how to answer that....lol. Due to the age of the truck it's legal for me to leave it LHD. I tried to load some pics but they are all to big in file size.
