Greetings From Western Colorado
« on: September 27, 2011, 03:18:19 pm »
Hello Everybody,

My name is Marshall and I am the proud new owner of a 1985 Chevy K10 with an original 5.7L V8 350, 70,000 original miles. I have always wanted an 80's era Chevy truck because of their classic style and character not to mention their durability. I am somewhat new to car mechanics but have already learned a tremendous amount from the haynes manuals and this web site. I bought the truck from an old farmer out near Fruita, CO. He kept a detailed journal and every reciept of all parts and maintenance so I knew I was buying a well cared for truck.

I hope to mold this truck into a reliable hunting and camping truck that my wife and three kids can get tremendous use and a lifetime of memories out of. I am looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing my experiences with this new labor of love.

Thanks,
Marshall

P.S. I couldn't quite figure out how to insert an image in this message so I just attached it.

Welcome from Iowa.

You'll be happy with your new truck. Personalize it and make it your own.
