New on board with 75 C10

Hi, all.  My name's Mark.  I've tried to attach a photo of "Old Sticky," my 1975 250 ci w/ 3 on the tree.  Looking forward to picking up some tips on this site as I bring her back to life.  Currently in NJ but I move often.

Anyone have success/failure with a Taiwan stamped fender?  I put this one on recently and I'm having a heck of a time lining it up with the hood.  Thanks!

regardless of where it was made, you aren't going to bolt one up and it fit perfect.
Post some pictures of where you have issues.  Most will require opening up the mounting holes.  Those are 73-80 fenders, where did you get them and if they were cheap, they are going to need EXTRA work.

Captkaos, it's an   fender.  I'll get some pics of where I'm having problems.  Most of the gaps look OK, but the front corner of the fender isn't flush with the front edge of the hood.  Hood sticks out on that side.  Someday I hope to find an original fender in good shape that I can afford. 

In order to get the thing on the road, I had to replace the fender and inner fender quickly, so that I could put the battery back where it belongs instead of on the floor in the cab! 

zieg85, when the truck sits for awhile all the vinyl, including steering wheel, becomes a sticky mess for some reason.  Periodically I have to get the googone and clean it up.  Either the vinyl is slowly breaking down or the truck is possessed.

The Goodmark stamped 73-80 improved fenders that I sell are the best fitting ones out there.
If you paid less than $100, they are just crash fenders.

Welcome from Arizona. I've had the stock steering wheel stick on every truck I've bought in this state, not sure why either.

Mine had it too. I think the sun releases the oils that are soaked into the rubber and its sticky from that. My dad gave me a wheel cover, it had barbed wire around it. So I tore the design off and slowly the vinyl material has rubbed away and made a cloth cover. I like it for what it is, but I want to put a grant wheel in her.

Your truck looks pretty good. Hope you figure out the fender thinh.

Your not alone on the fender issue. I got a fender once that was so far off I couldn't even make it work. When I tried to return it the parts store thought that I didn't know how to put an aftermarket fender on. The store manager came to my shop so I could prove to him how bad it was. He took it back agreeing that it was way off. Funny the other side was perfect.
