Unibody Pickups

I am looking for a comprehensive list of all the unibody trucks, old or new, though I am mainly interested in newer stuff, say in the past 20 years.  I am staunch believer that a real truck is body on frame, but I know with some smaller and mid-size trucks, unibodies abound.  I know that the Honda Ridgeline is a unibody and I think the Ranger is as well, (though has it always been?).  Not sure about the Canyon/Colorado.  This is just more for curiosity and because there does not seem to be a list I could find via Google.

Some guy at work feels that unibody trucks are the future and I don't agree (he was kinda slamming my squarebody a bit) I was hoping to find some more info on this. Thanks guys!

The only real "Uni-Body pickups" I remember were early 60's Fords, my buddy had one for a parts chaser when I turned wrenches over 26 years ago, all I remember was it was a workout to drive and you had to make sure you didn't have to go or it would jar it out of you...

ranger has a frame ^_^ so does the canyon. other than the honda ridgeline, VW pickup, the commanche, subi brate/bahja I think the rest have frames.

Jeep Comanche pickups were unibody and you could get a metric ton package that allowed over 2000lbs of cargo in the bed.

I'm not expert on Jeep anything, but a friend of mine told me the Comanche was half and half.  It had a rigid frame up front for the motor and turned unibody under the cab somewhere.

I don't know how much truth there is to that though.

If a unibody truck were to be made that could equal the weight/hauling/towing capacity of a conventional body-on-frame truck, would it end up weighing as much or more than the truck with a frame?

Yes GM and Dodge vans have been unibody for years. I think it was 97, 98 that GM went to a full frame.

Actually i'm wondering why the s-10/15 was not unibody to begin with?   Probably cheaper to develop?
