84 k10 rc model

ok soon im going to be getting a new rc and am going to be getting a body for it to somewhat match my truck it might be the different body style and 4x4 but i think it will turn out great i will getpics of what im doing if people are interested here is the actual model im getting the body from

     Is that a regular model kit, that you are taking the body and putting on a rc car ?

How well will the model body hold up? Can't imagine they are too sturdy.  Sounds like a cool project, keep us posted!

mostly im going to use it to crawl my dually cause if i flip it and it hit hard it will break mostly the body is for show and low things but i think alot of people will be looking at my truck for when the car shows happen at our local spot every friday

     I was thinking the same thing, and yes my wife would probably not be happy either.   ;D

lol im going to make a course out of my dually's body starting from the hood going over the top at a angle, to the bed over both inside wheelwells up to my tool box to the inside to the dash and out the back again so it could be fun and tricky to run the little rc truck on the coarse. just for a size reference to you guys the thing is about 6 inches long by 2.5 wide so it is pretty small

the rc im getting is a much better grade than what radio shack has as its is a hobby grade. which means its got better durability and is able to be repaired easy if broken. the one im getting comes with locked diffs and all time 4 wheel drive. heres what the rc looks like stock

also here is a link to a video a guy made of the truck you can get size of about how big it is as he uses toothpicks for trail markers

well got the body in just the other day and got it put together and paintedc it to look like its been through the mud



friend didnt listen when i told him to use the toothe brush with his finger to splater it he tried to brush so we made it just look like it got in a deep puddle on the driverside

well got me a new trailer to pull behind the rc but i get to figure out a hitch to hook to the front pluse i got a pretty cool scale motor the same scale as the things ive been getting and tires with pallet to hold the scale motor. i am going to have the motor sit in the back of the truck in the bed like im going to help a ford person
