i need help!!!!!!

i havea 1981 chevy scottsdale and it came with factory 235-75-r15 tires,,,,,i am goning to add one or two leafs to my front suspension, and 3/4 ton springs on the back,,i was wondering how big i could go with tires?

Is this a 4x4?  Are you talking about basically putting add-a-leafs in?

this is a 4 wheel drive and it is not ad-a-leafs..it is the old front leafs from the 3/4 ton i cut up,,,,,

You could easily go to 31X10.5X15 That's a real popular choice. If you can, get some quiet tires if you do a lot of freeway driving. But if your into the 4X4 fun get some aggressive treaded rubber and have fun. I bet you could move up to 33" tires at that point. Free advice if you go to the 31" tires the diameter difference to the stock P235 tire is about 2" and will throw off you speedometer about 4mph. So if your speedometer shows 60 your probally going about 56 mph. Also get ready for a little more bounce in the ride.  If you live in a place where tire shops pry into your life everytime you buy tires they will tell you something like "this is not factory recommended, saftey hazard, wrong speedometer reading etc etc blah blah blah" so there's my disclaimer. But I put 31" tires on my 4X2 and like the way it looks and the ride doesn't bother me, it's a truck right?1977 Chevy Cheyenne
