well i know this doesnt follow under the ''73-87chevytrucks" catagory but i just figured id show yall a little project we built a couple years ago. 74 vega gt station wagon with a 355 stroker, long tube headers, aluminum intake, 600 holley, aluminum radiator with electric fans, 9in ford rear end, and turbo mufflers. we got this car out of a junk yard and me and my grandpa built the motor, my dad painted it, and my grandma recovered the sits. here she is. first 3 pics

Those were fun cars, they were so light you didn't need much of a V-8 to be impressive let alone a built one.  I drove a Cogsworth Vega from NW Indiana to L.A. California, had a blast except it was over 4th of July in a Black car with no AC through death valley...

Very cool. Looks like you did a great job. Love all the family effort that went into it. Like the color choice too.
