I dunno, if I was going to include a truckbed, I'd just do this and skip the bench seat

Also I don't have any wall space to mount a big unit like that. I'm thinking just like a couch, can be moved around, but compliments the truck. I'm quite sure I'll be taking it with me to races and redneck parties, just because I can, and they dont have one. haha.
I'm really liking the wheels for a base, I have chrome 2500hd wheels for that, just gotta figure out now some type of armrests. but maybe not, if it has arm rests, I wouldnt be able to stretch out on it as I'm 6'2". lol.

I figured too, while I'm thinking about it, I'd tell you why I came up with this idea. For some various reason, the kids wanted to get the bench seat out of the basement and mess with it, well its been up in the garage in the way I been tripping over it for a month now.
Well, BOTH my parents cars were having major problems at the SAME time, and my dad works so many hours, he just cannot do it, so I had been spending 7 hours a day for about a week, working on both their cars, and having to loan them my car to boot. well, I was over there, trying to fix their cars and got so dang tired i couldn't see straight. well, I sat on the truck bench seat instead of the metal stool because it wasn't metal and was soft, about 1am and woke up in the morning laid down with my jacket and some packing blankets on the bench seat late for work at about 10am the next morning. dang that thing was comfy. other than freezing sleeping with the garage doors open all night i was pretty dang cozy, so i decided I'm not getting rid of the seat, but want to make something cool out of it. now i sit in the thing whenever I'm down there. I got my mom to lay on it too and she almost went to sleep.

I think putting the 2500 wheels on it will make it less comfortable since you aren't going to be able to stretch out or get a good arm rest on it. You should try and put 4 small wheel/tire ( two in each side) set so they don't get in the way.

Maybe make put some Chevy emblems in the center of the wheels.

I've had that idea for years now. Glad I got to see it finally done. Thanks for posting that.
