New to me-'86 dually
« on: December 23, 2011, 06:07:39 am »
Hi all, haven't been around much.
Ran into a money crunch earlier this year and sold the '73.  Confused a few of the local folk with the plow gear still on the front.  I just called it a "hydraulic brush guard".

Anyway, I needed a truck and found an '86 C-30 dually pick-up.  Little rough around the edges, but most of the smog equipment is still intact and functioning.  Bed lights are out, master cylinder needs replacing, the dual tanks won't switch, dually fenders need lovin'.  IMO mostly minor stuff.  I didn't expect much more from a 25yr old truck.

Oh, in case anybody is wondering.  454, turbo 400. :)

My plow was half price if i took the truck with it.

Doesn't look at that bad from the pic.

That's a good looking truck. And a big block too! Should make you a good rig.

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!
