They told me there was a relationship between how much you spent and how much you heard. Meaning to get a quiet exhaust without sacrificing performance your gonna have to pay for it.

i just got a full dual exhaust put on my V30 454 for $650. I put new manifolds on then brought it to a shop. They told me there was a relationship between how much you spent and how much you heard. Meaning to get a quiet exhaust without sacrificing performance your gonna have to pay for it.He offered a flowmaster (ithink 70 series) for a little less cash but i opted for 2 of these http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=9310with tail pipes coming out just in front of the rear tires. They did a great job and the sound is perfect. They are a high flow muffler but I'm not getting rattled around the cab even when I get on it.

Either way you taught me something..If i can buy the major parts cheaply my self up-front it may save me a lot in the long run. I just can't see paying that much foe exhaust unless if was on a show truck with full stainless.
