84 chevy scottsdale question
« on: January 10, 2012, 08:58:18 pm »
ok i have an 84 scottsdale (or so i think) but i was looking around on youtube and noticed all the other scottsdales have 4 guages to the left when mine has 4 lights, and a plastic bezel when others have an aluminum, and lights in the fuel guage. im starting to wonder if its a custom deluxe and someone put a scottsdale dash pad in it? what do yall think?

Do you have the sticker in the glove box still ?  If so what does it say ?  So you have any other badges on the truck, like on dash pad along the front ?  What else does the truck have as far as options ?  Do you have any pick's you can post ?

Scottsdales (Option code Z62) was just over base trim, they generally have lights instead of gauges.  On this trim level though you could option for them.

As Capt. mentioned, maybe the person who bought it originally bought it with just lights and no gages.

I believe the bezel should be plastic/abs on this model.
