First pic is first day of having her.cap immediately off. Second pic is putting it to work getting the bugs out. Third pic is adding blocks front and rear. Bad idea. Went from driving like a cadillac to a hay wagon. Front blocks and rear blocks removed with leaf springs. Somewhere around a 4" lift.

First pic is the th400 that I got that was from a 84 plow truck frame for $100.it was detonated, full rebuild with mods $700.I really wish i had a pic of where the th350 broke off the np203 from the previous owner not putting in the support arm. This is the time I swapped out my th350 and np203 for the th400 and np205 out of a 84 plow truck.transfer needs adjusted still kind of a pain to get from 4lo to 2wd.warn hubs installed in the front.Second pic is pre 35x12.50x15 with the 31s.third is the discover stt. Fourth is noticing I really had a issue with my cab being rotted.

They will move it when they see it.  First question, why do you call it hillbilly build ?  Looks like you are taking care to do a good job.
Second.  So glad to hear that you removed the front blocks, very dangerous and illegal almost everywhere.
Third, nice pics, love to see progress, keep them coming.  And finally, can not wait to see what it transforms into.

First picture is the dismantling of the truck after a year in waiting.rest of pics are just of removal of parts. Everything went good no major issues. Did not expect the fenders to ne held on with as many bolts as there were. Front ones going onto the radiator support , 4 I believe were a pain.

Thanks for the support. Hillbilly restoration not rigging up or other sorts but more of it will look like when its finished.lift blocks were the worst thing I did.I don't recommend it to anyone , it was the 35 dollar lift at the time, that was Hillbilly there.got a lot of the little odds off the front.hoping to get the engine in the stand and bed off next week and get down to frame.

Lots of bolts for the front sheetmetal.

It looks like things are progressing well after the year long hiatus. Are you going back with the orange?

Keep the photos coming.

It was actually some type of red. I pulled out the front bench and was amazed to see the factory paint compared to the sun fade now. I ran the dash codes but can't remember what they called it. Here is the paint scheme I'm going with, I love these old chevys in the 2 tone green and reds and other misc. But some type off hugger or chevy orange as a main with a white as two tone.I found a pic online but it won't let jpeg download, so I need to figure out change it.

Im glad the blocks came out. Looks like your moving along pretty well. I support the two tone idea, its the perfect candidate for it.
