Bed Removal Video - How Accurate?

This appears to be an 88 or later truck. I was curious how close this is to our trucks? Seems to have the best visual presentation of bed removal I have seen.
Only difference I can see is the additional filler neck, but how close are the bolt positions as shown? Ground straps?

the same exact thing but totally different
there is a pig tial under the rear just follow the wires unplug that instead of taking each light housing out. but the bolts go threw the bed on ours and are a bolt and nut not just a bolt the heads are carriage so the have a square end you cant see that hold in place on the bed floor i have seen theses round out so take your time and use some pb blaster and let her sit.

Easier to torch the bed bolts off and replace them. A bed bolt set isn't that expensive.

Ain't that always the case. Looks straightforward. I undercoated my cab last fall. I did not bother taking anything off to do it as I don't really have any help and I was worried I would screw something up. But I would like to do the back end more thoroughly and removing the bed should make coating the frame in POR15 much easier.

x2 on the PB. Soak them up real good and let them sit. Otherwise, the nuts will bind and you'll strip out the thin sheet metal in the bed and the bolts will spin freely without loosening. Then you'll curse. Then you'll grab your grinder and grind the head off the bolts only to learn that there is a metal plate lower down that will prevent them from dropping out the bottom. You'll curse some more. Then you'll go for your Sawzall, but realize it you left it in the hills far from where you are removing the bed. More cursing followed by strenuous exercise with a hacksaw cutting the bolts from below. You'll be left with rusty lengths of bolt sticking out that catch on everything, and of course, more cursing.
Also, definitely have a hoist ready. The bed is very heavy. I wrestled it off and into my other truck alone and I was sure sore the next day. There was much scratching too. I only weigh a buck fifty though so maybe a helper with some muscle would work too.

I've got some buds who can help. 4 to be exact. I was just going to have each one grab a corner and then drive the truck off and set the bed on supports. Mind you, I am waiting til spring to do this.
Irish, thanks for the head up on the bolts, I should be able to get it. When I do this, I will post pics.

I use an engine crane with the tailgate off. Cut a 4x4 to fit between the top rails and put the crane in from behind the truck. A second person to hold it and make sure it doesn't go into the cab is a good idea. Then set it down on jack stands or whatever you got.

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!
