I agree, you made the right blue color choice.  It is just deep enough to make the white stand out on it's own.  Can't wait to see it all assembled again.

Guys...

I took it back.     They're re-shooting it.  Nothing to do with the workmanship.  They did a phenomenal job, it was the color.  Initially, when i first saw it, i loved it. maybe i was just struck by how clean it looked freshly painted, i don't know.  but once i got it home a stared at it over and over, i came to terms with the fact that it wasn't the color i wanted.  Its a nice color, but not what i was going for.   In the sunlight, i think it was too "candy" or something.  i wanted a little bit darker blue.  It totally comes back on me, and choosing a blue off that little sample booklet.  Man those things are deceiving.  The shop manager was understanding and agreed to re-shoot it pretty cheap.  This time i took my time picking out another blue, and he even had one of his guys mix up a couple variations and shoot some random empty paint cans so i could get a better idea of how each one would look.  when it comes down to it, i figured might as well have it done how i want it, otherwise why bother at all? But either way i hope this choice of blue is the right one, cause i can't afford to do this a third time!
Anyway truck is being re-shot now and i should get it back late next week.
i did however get the swampers peeled off and mounted on one of the sets of slot mags, looks good.

what do you guys think?

The shop manager must be understanding, most would be either pissed that you brought it back or thinking what a sucker to pay me twice.    Nice of him to reduce the price.

I was baffled by how little he said to re-shoot it.  I thought it would be way more.  It's a good thing, too, I would have learned to live with it if he didn't hook me up so cheap.     Lol. He made it a point to NOT have any influence when I was initially picking out a color.    Apparently he's dealt with similar situations but customers have blamed him for a color that didn't come out like they thought it would that THEY picked out..

No trim.!     At least no chrome molding.   Never liked the stuff.  Im not even going with a pin stripe to seprate paints.    Drip rails and bumpers and mirrors that's all that's going back on.       --oh and of course the Cheyenne 30 emblems.

Will you not even put on any wheelwell molding?
I ask because I see you have bigger tires too, like what I will have on my rebuild.
I'm torn as to what to do about protecting the wheelwell lips from what the tires will throw up.

I'm just curious as to what others are doing about this.

Personally I wish there were more options than fender flares or chrome trim.  I would like to see some black trim or paintable trim so you could match the colors.
