Link is working, and I still say you got a good deal on the truck.

Think i figured oil leak out, looks to be leaking out in between front of pan and the timing chain cover. I drove it a little bit this weekend and i think that i can explain the no power issue a little better. it can bet running down the road in overdrive and all of a sudden it will run like the timing is a little re-tared and if i floor it to down shift it will down shift but wont have any power to accel very much, but after a wile it will go back to normal and run just fin. ??? Could that issue be caused by a bad diaphragm in the vacuum advance???

since it has the 700r4 transmission, you might want to adjust the tv cable which control the shift on that transmission, here a link to adjusting it  http://www.cpttransmission.com/tech_tvcable.htm
its never finished

well heres a little up date on the oil leak. had one of the mechanics classes look the truck over and figured out for sure were it is leaking and it is leaking out of the timing chain cover gasket... :( so the front of the motor is going to need to be tore apart, summer project.  ;D

Then there is the issue with the power loss. have a little beter description of what is going on with it. u can be driving it and it will be runing great and then it acts like the timing is retarted and have no power, but it will come and go. The only thing that i can think of that this can be is the vacumn advance, or what do u guys think???????

It could be that the dist. needs rebuilt.  Or it could be that the timing chain is stretched, and once in awhile under the right circumstances the timing goes off a little.
