Well I went looked the stuff over today only thing that's wrong is one of the lock out hubs is missing.  I'm also getting a step bumper off him and maybe a 6.2 liter.

     Go for a set of axles and get a bumper and a diesel engine also.  Maybe my wife is right, men have no self control when it comes to their trucks.    ;)

The bumper is 10 bucks the diesel we haven't made a deal on yet.  He is buying it in a gov auction just for the trans.  the rest of the truck he is going to sell what he can use what he needs and scrap the rest so saving the 6.2 sounds good to me and I'll have a better work truck in the long run. He has 2 cucvs now.

     I have to admit, that does sound like a good deal no matter how you look at it.

I'm planing on getting a Diamondback truck cover to haul the atv's with and the camper I'm looking at weighs ruffly 4000 pounds do you guys think it should handle it with the 1/2 ton setup (rear springs are 3/4 ton now)?
