Hello from Sweden
«

Hi there! I am pretty new to this page, has posted for a short while only. I live in Sweden, and I have a 1980 Suburban C10. It used to belong to the Swedish airforce I think, it's painted in their green colour, and it's rusty as heck. In a city full of small Japanese cars it's perfect!

Hey, thanks!
I have already learned a lot here about the old Chevys, that's great!

I have learned a lot as well. I delt more with ford in the past and I have come to appreciate how much simpler these old chevys are.

I haven't, because I am just allowed to post really small photos here in the forum. Anyway, here's a link to my car at another homepage.

Your 'burb looks to be in fairly good shape.
Yeah the pics are kinda small if you upload directly to this site...
If you have uploaded your photos to another website, like a photo sharing site (i.e., Flickr, Google-Picasa, Photobucket, etc.), you can link to those photos by clicking the link to photo icon. You can then insert the link to the photo and have it appear on your posting.

I never see any 2wd suburbans in my area. That looks great down low like that.
Welcome to the site from the north eastern part of the states.

2wd Suburbans are more common here, where we are not blessed with gas prices like yours.
This one was, as far as I know, used at an airforce base here, in the far north. They would just use it to pull different things around on the tarmac and never really drive in the snow anyway, so I guess that's why they didn't go for a 4wd. It drove less than 2000 miles in the first 25 years or so. Now I think it's around 4-5 000 miles, which is still very little in 32 years. I'll fix the rust and re-paint it, probably in the same colour. I think it deserves to stay in the airforce mode.
And the 2wd were always this low? I never saw another one that was this way.
