need new shocks

i'm looking to buy some shocks soon for mud truck 76 blazer frame with standard cab 3/4 ton axles and wondering what people would suggest. also i thought about making the rear dual shocks just to help  prevent the axle from moving any if it were to

What are your plans for the truck?  Is it or will it be lifted or dropped?  Plan on rock crawling...mudding...Alot depends on what you are going to do with it.  Also, will you be using at your daily driver?  Don't jump into dual shocks just yet.  No need to spend the extra cash on stuff you may not need.  My truck had dual front and back when I bought it and they were the first thing to go.

the truck will be strictly off road: trail riding, mudding and for a bit of pulling around the farm. it is all stock parts. i have 9 leaf springs in the rear if that would make a difference. i've started to fifgure my budget for it which would be around $200-300 also.
