Terre Haute indiana to be exact. have owned lots of these trucks when i was in high school. love them. now its almost time for my boy to get licence and low and behold this is what he wanted!! so i went out and found a 1984 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. dog house and cab in decent condition, bed not so much. so tryin to find a better bed or i will have to fix the one he has. just started sandblasting the frame and usin por15. fun days ahead!! have a year before he gets licence. i also have a 1985 gmc 3/4 ton 4x4.

Welcome from Iowa.

You two are gonna have a great time doing this fixup. I wish my teenage son was interested in wrenching, but am happy he's into hunting with me.

Can't wait to hear more about the truck project.
