Opinions on New Demon Carb

 Well I have been reading on this new carb that Demon is suppose to reveal anyday. Just Curious of others opinions on this new Speed Demon version. I have only ran two Demon Carbs, both are the Road Demon Jr. Have had good service with them so far. I will Try & post a link if I can. Would Love to here others opinions, I am thinking of useing one on my 350 for 2 wheel low horse everyday driver but haven't decided.

It certainly looks interesting.  I'd be a little hesitant personally until they've been out for a year or so and have more of a record.

Kind of reminiscent of the old Thermoquad.

I dunno, we know a lot more about materials than we did 20 years ago. I think it looks neat. If it's a true spreadbore, it should be a pretty good street carb. I wonder what kind of jets and other parts you can get for it. If Summit comes out with a 4011 clone for close to the same price as their 4010 clone, it'll have really stiff competition.

Edit: actually, it's power enrichment circuit is metering rods which is MUCH more precise than powervalves. It may prove to be a game changer for daily drivers.

     As jaredts and bd pointed out.  Most company's produce a product but do not have a multimillion dollar R&D division.  So do the preliminary research, then put it on the open market and get feed back from customers.  Then they redesign if needed.
     Not to say they did not do their fare diligence while developing this carb. just stating statistics.  It looks as though it would be a good carb if it performed as promised.
