So after a long hibernation, i changed the plugs, wires, oil(full syn. mobil 1), all filters except fuel(next week, i know!) and got her up and running pretty easily.  ;D Dumped some lucas fuel treatment in the tank, suped it up with some 93 and we were off and running after getting the old gas gone. Less than 2 mi after its resurrection and my immediate happiness, i realize that the caliper/pad is seized up from sitting so long. Smoke comin out the right front when i hit the stop sign.  >:( So after 3 trips to the part store, we changed the in/outer bearings, seals, caliper, pads still good. So we got that right, but heres issue.

But the wonderful issue with this truck, it has to have its spindles reverted to OEM and im not sure where i can get them from, other than ebay. I'm not tryna lower it any further, i just want the stock spindles, aftermarket or not back on it because my grandfather who owned his own machine shop/did all his own work did some type of modification to the spindles he switched out on the truck and stock 87 r10 rotors WILL NOT fit. Unfortunately for me, my grandfathers been gone for a while, so uh, theres not really a way to call em up and say hey man, what the heck did you do to this truck!?

So id like to change back to the stock spindles, anyone point me to a online spot with a good rep? Summit has some, but im not sure thats what i need, different drop spindles/sizes. kinda lost on that part, i just want stock so i can replace the rotors and all the other stuff no prob.

Now that i got the filth off of it from sitting, ima shoot yall a pic later today in the members section

Your best bet would be to e-mail Chris (kaptkoas) at the store and he should be able to point you in the right direction to finding all the stock parts you will need that will fit and not make you chase down several different parts to make it right.
Some times it is better to go with knowledge then trying to source out everything over several sites.

Will do. Well, updating the situation, its really not RIGHT per se, but we did what we had to do to get it as right as its gon get and as safe as its gon get more importantly, until i can hit pullapart and rob some stock spindles(still gon hit kaos and see bout getting some oem spindles) to get by til i can buy new ones. But, there were 2 shims in the right front after taking the right front off/apart. Why, im not sure, but the rotor had too much play in it which it should have it all which led to a ridiculous vibration in the RF. So we fixed that, replaced the seals and inner/outer bearings in the RF as well, slapped some fresh grease in those guys and took it for a test drive, no probs. So I'm really happy. WASNT happy when i filled it up at the pump tho. Grrrrr. $52 to top it off from the gas i put in yesterday when i posted this bout the problem. Pics coming to the appropriate section if anyones interested.

Keep in mind this was an up north truck, salts done a number on certain areas of her(cab corner, but ima fix that when i get the mechanical stuff all ironed out. Up next, the exhaust system.

You do know there are 2 different spindles/rotors for the 81-87 1/2T pickups, right?  Standard 1" and 1.25" HD.  They won't swap one to the other...

Nah, I didnt know that, i just know the last time i tried to change the rotors and bought 87 r10 rotors, what was given to me was the correct rotors, but they wouldnt fit the truck. My grandfather had his own machine shop where he'd fashion and alter alot of stuff, so no tellin what was done that i know/dont know about. i just know the rotors are unknown, but not the rotors that came on there, which means more than likely he changed the spindles. a friend of mine told me its a high possibility they're monte carlo rotors. idk though
