New guy from Springfield, IL
« on: May 03, 2012, 06:26:53 pm »
Hi guys!

I recently acquired a 1986 C10 Longbed to replace my 1975 El Camino. So much easier to find parts for this truck! Hahah. Hope to learn a lot from you guys. :)

She's my first manual ever. Boy, has this been a learning experience. Especially since she has a slightly built motor! 320 HP @ 5200 rpm and 315 ft/lbs torque @ 2300 rpm. Going to plan on upgrading the heads to some nice aluminum ones, and really wake that engine up! He had a Flowtech dual exhaust (welded) setup installed on it recently. Boy, it sounds mean.
