New guy from Minooka, IL
« on: May 13, 2012, 01:01:38 pm »
I've been getting some good information from here in my search for a truck and I finally bought one.  It's a 1987 R10, 350 TBI w/ 700R4 transmission and ~44,000 original miles.  The interior needs work along with a bunch of other little stuff, but I'm happy.  I'm going to have to get some new rear tires or winter won't be much fun!   ;D  Thanks for all the good info so far!

Thanks!  I grew up riding around in my Dad's '75 C10 so it's a bit nostalgic for me.  Kinda cool that he went along with me to look at this one all these years later.

Trucks were meant to work, not be babied.  Besides, if you got a close look at this one she's not been babied already.
