Moroso blue max wires...
« on: May 15, 2012, 08:33:18 pm »
Anyone heard of them? Good/ bad? Just ordered a set from summit and they ship straight from moroso. Did my homework and they seem pretty darn good compaired to a couple other brands... and about 50 bucks less.

The real test of any spark plug wire is how many ohms of resistance they carry.  The less ohms of resistance the more power can be transferred to the spark plug.

I shouldn't say anything, but voltmeter for ohms?

I have had the moroso blue max wire set on my 1976 chevy truck for about 9 years now and I think they are the best for the money.I have changed the plugs a couple of times,I check the wires with a voltmeter every time and they have been good so far.

What kind of resistance should a good set have?

That looks like something out of the Hadron Collider!   ;D

Unless you've got a misfire, now, don't expect a BIG change.  They are mighty pretty, though!  Gotta love new parts!  Should provide years of service.  Moroso builds quality wires.
