I dropped my 81 short bed with 2.5 spindles and 1.5 springs in front and flip kit in rear with cal tracs now on the passenger side sits about .5 inch lower than driver side what could cause this to happen ?
81 Chevy stepside 406 small block roller motor with turbo 400 reverse manual shift body with Trans brake 373 rear end with locker on 18 inch boss 338 wheels

Hard to say without doing some figuring. Are you sure it wasn't off before you started? Is this front or rear that is off the most? The corner that is the worst would be where I'd start looking. As in, the "offending" corner will also bring down the other wheelwell on the same side & raise the opposite some & the diagonal, the worst. Lorne

It didn't look like it before it is passenger side front that is a little lower than driver front

That's always a pain. My experience in lowering trucks it's always something different. For example spring in the wrong position, ball joint not set properly or worn, alignment problem ( positive or negative chamber) could make it look uneven, worst case a bent control arm, best thing is check the control arm bushings that will definitely drop one side. Make sure you use bright light because it's hard to tell since they are usually full of grease. Look for cracks, missing chunks on the rubber. This considering you have same size and wear on the tires.
Why build it if you can't drive it?

thanks i will check and i do have the same size tires on front i measured from front of frame to ground on each side and like i said the right side is about 1 inch lower
