that's just as almost every other brand is doing these days, hard to find something that's not made in china. so to whatever car brand you might want to switch, will be difficult though to find one that doesn't build or buy in china...

well, money's a $#@%...

indeed a grand plan.  and the dems want a new bail out program to be passed by congress--thank God Repubs own the house right now.

Our politicians are on drugs giving our country away.  B.O. didn't even acknowledge D-Day today, June 6th.--he doesnt care.  he was out asking for money for his campaign at two cities today.  I wonder if my boss would let me spend a few days forgetting about my job and going out asking for money, while on the company tab.

want a us made car? Subaru, Honda, Toyoda is the way you go.  don't like china? don't eat at, mc d's wendys, arbies, hardeese or any fast food place. 0o

Interesting film. but it much on the anti-china pro us down with Obama propaganda side of things. Things that struck me as off, the thought to Communism is vary 1950's. If you look at China today it's more of a Capitalistic Communism country now. heavy on the Capitalist part. (yes it is still has bad things and not free.) it also did not say that a good 45Billion of that 80 Billion was loaned to the us from china. and china is our #1 creditor we owe. it plays heavily on the thought that usa is the only 1st world country and everything should be made here. but if you think about moving stuff to china lowers the cost for GMC and lets the repay the "taxpayers" faster by keeping prices high and the production low. why is asia a good place? no unions, no laws that force companies to spend crap load of money for nothing but some people thought of cleaner environment.

I don't agree or disagree with the film. it's to me is a option piece with no real research done. reminds me of a michael moor movie honestly.

Oh I'm already there, If I see anybody driving a GM from after the bailout, I see a moron with money

I recently inherited my grandad's 2008 IMPALA  and it has 20k miles on it.  welll...  the LR power lock motor has quit working, the RF window motor quit working, the belt tensioner just got replaced...  What a Piece of CRAP.  It has 20k miles on it!  NO!  thats a Piece of crap!

Here's old school GM scheming.  if this is true GM been SCREWING this country for its own benefit since the 30's

i orginally thought that the RWD caprice was available for sale in china, but apparently not.

The v-8 camaro is not available.

The corvette seems absent.  This to me does not make a whole lot of sense;  i feel they would eat that up quick.  Also, it is available in Japan and other countries-----Germany for one.

I also do not see trucks or suv's available;  i feel this is not a good move either.    There are "gm" trucks available but they are more of the cabover-isuzu types.   Remember that the squares were available in taiwan.

G.Beck theorized that since China is the largest car market they are going to get first pick on models, we get the "leftovers."  But so far that has not materialized.

Gm, asleep again.

Where GM has gone...  I'd buy Dodge before I'd buy GM.  And I'd buy ford before I'd buy Dodge.  So I guess It's ford or bust.  fords all thats left for American whatever...  I'd paint my truck pink with purple polka dots before I'd let $1 of my money goto to GM, ever, for any reason.  If you own any GM product from after the GUbmint Buyout, you are the chinese problem and I dont ever want to meet you or hear your opinion on anything, ever.

It harsher than I usually do things..  but gm got more press than anyuthing since 9/11.   but  I'd never own anything post gubimint motors, and if you aint heard about GM with their hand out IE. (To big to fail)  you need to stay under your rock and not vote...lol   Im not hating them (taking the time to) , I have to laugh.  But And bad as I hate to say it... truly...  Id go with a ford #1 (even though they're butt-ugly) and a dodge #2 (and I have never liked mopar, I dont hae mopar, but have never seen one i couldnt live without).  Is it still GM?  Or is it CM?  I still like chevy and GM, but can't make myself even look at new ones anymore.  I'm hoping like crazy Ford comes out with something that looks worth a crap.

I have had to order occasional parts for my truck from the local GM dealer when I can't find them elsewhere.  Makes me question doing that again.
