Intake gasket port leak

Ok so I search with no luck in finding the answer... the first time I pulled off my intake I noticed the air ports on the blue felpro gaskets were black at the bottom, so I know the. Felpro gaskets aren't thick enough at the bottom of the port. Heads were milled a little to make the surface flat and free from improfections... maybe to up the comp a tid bit not much. So what are my options for intake gaskets to that will seal better. I looked at summit and saw some thicker gaskets, but they didn't have the crossover port open. Any opinions appreciated:) I'm in no rush

Did a machine shop do the milling ? Are you sure they are not milled just a hair too much ?

Sounds like to much was taken off.Felpro blue gaskets are not intended for aluminum intake manifolds because of leaks.

Felpro makes a thicker gasket for the aluminum intake,I think it is gray in color not that it makes a difference.

Hey I just read somewhere that you aren't supposed to use the end seals on the I take gaskets. Just the port gaskets and rtv the ends. I am looking at the same thing, just don't feel like taking my intake off right now-

Well all is good so far except the t stat housing cracked, so I ended up getting one with the o ring. I hear they leak, so I used some gray silicon to help. I also changed to a180° t stat. The surprising thing is the engine has gained 2in of vac when in idle and 1-1/2 in drive. Less pedal for accelleration aswell
